Early Spanish-Moresque Arista tile with a spiky floral motif, glazed in white, honey-brown, copper green and black. The tile was made in Toledo between 1500 and 1525. Size is 15.7 x 12.1 cm and 2 cm thick. Tile has some very good bright glaze, but with some glaze damage to sides. Similar tiles in V&A museum collection.
