Floor tile with emblem of Ramon de Perellos € 550

Rare tile painted in two colors representing a helmet crowned by a females head. A thistle flower decoration fills the bottom of the tile. This tile was commissioned for Palacio de Dos Aguas in Valencia. The tile is heavily restored, It looks like about 20% of the surface has been restored. Similar tiles in the collection of the Ceramic museum in Valencia and Colección Alberto Folch-Rusiñol which can be visited online.
