Very large majolica tile most likely made in Toledo. Decorated with a castle or large farmhouse in a rural setting. Taken from kitchen in Toledo where it was set between other tiles in different sizes. Excellent glaze with bright colours, few smal chips to sides. Tile is most likely made in the first half of the 18th century. Similar large tiles are in the collection of Carranza, but those are made in Seville.
