Large plaque painted in Sepia by De Porceleyne Fles Delft, made in 1897 (Yearletter S). The painter who marked this piece with his initials is not yet identified. The panel depicts view of a city with ships in it, after a painting by J Maris. The original paining is in Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam. Excellent condition.
