four medieval encaustic floor tiles depicting a coat of arms

Very rare set of four medieval encaustic floor tiles depicting a coat of arms, XIV – XV century. Provenance, Moor place, Much Hadham, Hertfordhire. Moor place was built on the park of the Bishop’s palace, the site belonging to the Bishops of London! Sets of four medieval tiles are extremely rare! I did not buy these tiles as a set, I was able to buy several tiles from this design at different locations, just recently found the top left tile at an antiques dealer in the United Kingdom. Some tiles from this medieval floor were auctioned in 2014.
