Attractive Original antique Art Nouveau tile made by: J. & W. Wade & Co, 1867 - c1923, Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, England. The tile was made around 1905. The decoration of floral motifs is embossed by dust-press technique in which clay powder is compressed under high pressure in a mold. The tile is in good condition with clear red glaze. There are traces of use, few small scratches to red glaze and a few glaze chips. Tile is 6"square.
