Beautiful art nouveau tile made by Villeroy & Boch in Mettlach. The tile with a floral decoration is made by pressing clay powder into a mold which creates a decoration in relief. The outline of the flowers on this tile was accentuated by hand in red. The tile is in fine condition, but with some imperfections in the red glaze.
