Original antique Art Nouveau tile made by Villeroy & Boch, Mettlach, Germany. Produced around 1900. The decoration of Neptune n purple was executed in relief using the dust-press technique, where clay powder is compressed under high pressure in a mold. The tile is in excellent condition.
