This is a beautifully designed Art Nouveau tile, crafted by Tonwerk Offstein in Offstein und Worms, Germany. The focal point of the decoration is a pansy, flanked by two gracefully curved green leaves. The smooth bands at the top and bottom suggest the tile was designed as part of a frieze, perfect for creating a continuous decorative pattern. The design is embossed using the dust-pressed technique, where clay powder is compressed under high pressure in a mold. The tile is in good condition, showing light traces of use. There is a small glaze fault, formed during production, in the upper right corner, which does not detract from its overall beauty.
