Original antique Art Nouveau / Jugendstil tile produced by Ernst Teichert, Meissen (Germany), a well-known ceramic manufacturer established in 1884.This tile features a bold and highly decorative symmetrical floral / stylised plant motif, executed in rich tones of deep red, warm brown and soft grey-green. The pattern is typical of early 20th century architectural ceramics, combining natural forms with a modern, almost geometric elegance. very good antique condition with a bright glossy glaze. Only one small glaze flake along the top edge, consistent with age and careful handling.
