Extremely rare set of tile depicting a partridge in a landscape. This set was made by Vereinigte Servais Werke AG, Ehrang, Trier, Germany around 1900. This factory is known for Mr. fine designs for Art Nouveau tiles. These sets are very rare. This set is said to come from a house in Luxembourg. The tile is marked with the name of the factory on the back. The tiles are in nice condition with very clear glaze, though there are fine scratches in the green glaze of the edges. And a few small glaze damages in the glaze of the bird in the foreground.
