Jugendstil tile made by Georg Schmider in Zell am Harmersbach, Germany, circa 1907. The tile shows a stylised floral motif with flowing lines and softly shaded glazes in green, red, purple and blue. Dust-pressed in relief, with a rich, tactile surface and subtle depth. A highly decorative example, in very good condition with only minor age-related wear.
