Original Antique Art Nouveau Tile Manufactured by S.O.F. Sächsische Ofen- und Schamottewarenfabrik, formerly Ernst Teichert, Meissen, Germany. This tile was produced around the year 1900 and features a design of three stylized flowers. The design is by Margarethe von Brauchitsch and was published in Deutsche Kunst & Decoration, issue 5–10, 1898. Only a few Art Nouveau tiles can be traced back to a known designer—this is one of them! The tile is in very good condition with a clear, glossy glaze. Dimensions: 6 inches square.
