Art Nouveau relief tile, produced by Osterather Mosaik- und Wandplatten Fabrik GmbH, Germany, circa 1902–1910. Square ceramic wall tile with a strongly moulded Jugendstil relief design, featuring a symmetrical stylised floral composition with radiating fan-shaped blossoms and curving stems. The design is framed by softly rounded geometric lines, characteristic of early 20th-century German Art Nouveau. Executed in pressed relief earthenware, the tile is finished with layered blue and turquoise glazes in matte to satin tones, creating subtle depth and tonal transitions within the raised contours.
