This is an original antique Art Nouveau tile made by: N.st.G. Norddeutsche Steingutfabrik, Grohn, Germany. The tile was made around the year 1900. The decor of stylised floral motifs is embossed by Dust-pressed technique in which clay powder is compressed under high pressure in a mould. The tile is in very good condition with very clear glaze. It does have some light signs of use such as a small edge damage on the left side, see the pictures. The reverse is not marked but has the line structure typical of this factory.
