This is an original antique Art Nouveau tile made by: Norddeutsche Steingutfabrik Grohn, Grohn, Germany. The tile was made around 1905. The decor of flowers is embossed by means of Dust-pressed technique in which clay powder is compressed under high pressure in a mold. The tile is in very good condition with very clear glaze. There are some imperfections in the glaze, which already occurred in production. The back is not marked.
