Original antique Art Nouveau tile produced by S.O.F. (Sächsische Ofen- und Schamottewarenfabrik), formerly Ernst Teichert, Meissen, Germany, dating to around 1905. This elegant design features a stylised floral motif with sweeping green leaves and small white blossoms framing a bold deep-red central flower, all set against a soft celadon ground. The decoration was made using the tubeline technique, with raised clay outlines creating crisp separation between the glazes and giving the surface a subtle relief. The tile is in very good condition, with a strong glossy finish and only light, age-related wear such as tine glaze chip to top right corner. The maker’s mark is present on the reverse.
