This tile is a delicate example of Art Nouveau floral design from around 1900 made by MPOF, Meissen. The composition is organized around a flowing circular vine that frames the central field. Soft green stems and leaves create a sense of continuous movement. Hanging from the vine are small heart-shaped blossoms in pink.Raised outlines define the motif clearly and emphasize the relief. The decoration is executed in a finely pressed relief technique. In good used condition, with light age-related wear and traces of lime mortar on the reverse, consistent with former installation.
