Pair of art nouveau tiles depicting woman in a landscape. The design is by Carl Sigmund Luber, artistic director of the artistic faience department at Johann von Schwarz in Nuremberg. He worked for this company from 1896 until the closure of the artistic department in 1906. The tiles were once part of a piece of furniture. Condition is very fine. Back marked with incised 896 and 897.
