Set of four original antique Art Nouveau / Jugendstil ceramic tiles by Grohner Wandplattenfabrik, Germany, dating to the early 20th century (circa 1905–1910). This charming series depicts idyllic Dutch-inspired landscape scenes, including windmills, sailing boats, waterways, and village architecture, rendered in a beautifully stylised and atmospheric manner. The tiles are executed in soft polychrome glazes with delicate shades of blue, green, ochre, and rust red, creating a harmonious and luminous palette. Their flowing contours, simplified forms, and decorative composition reflect the characteristic Jugendstil interpretation of landscape and daily life. Condition: all four tiles are in excellent antique condition, with bright, well-preserved glazes and only minimal age-related wear, consistent with their period.
