Beautiful original antique Art Nouveau tile produced by Gilliot & Cie (Hemiksem, Belgium), dating to the early 20th century. The tile features a refined stylized rose design, with a swirling rose bloom and geometric floral elements in warm cream and honey tones, set against a rich brown glazed background. The raised relief lines give the pattern depth and a strong decorative character, typical of Belgian Jugendstil ceramics. Condition: unused overall. There is a small glaze chip on the top edge and a few tiny minor imperfections to the relief (see photos). he glaze remains glossy and well preserved.
