Original antique Art Nouveau tile depicting a bird.The decoration is executed in the tubeline technique, where thin clay ridges prevent the glaze colors from running into each other. Tile is made by Gilardoni & Fils, choisy-le-Roy, Paris. The tile probably comes from a music box, as the French often used these large tiles for that purpose. It is in good condition, but there are some slight signs of wear.
