Beautiful set of two original Art Nouveau ceramic tiles produced by Ernst Teichert, Meissen. The tiles feature an elegant flowing Jugendstil design with stylized botanical motifs and a bird decoration, executed in soft pastel tones of green, blue, lilac, on a white ground. The graceful curved lines and raised tube-lined decoration are characteristic of the Art Nouveau period, giving the tiles a refined and decorative appearance. Very good antique condition with light traces of use consistent with age.
