This is an original antique Art Nouveau tile made by: Meissner Ofen- und Porzellandfabrik, Meissen , Germany. The tile was made around the year 1910. The decor of a wild boar in brown tones is embossed by Dust-pressed technique in which clay powder is compressed under high pressure in a mold. The tile is in very good condition with clear glaze. There are only some very light signs of use such as some small scratches and glaze damages in the narrow rim.
