This is a beautiful original antique Art Nouveau tile made by: Bankel, Lauf, Germany. The tile was made around 1905. The geometric decoration is embossed using Dust-pressed technique where clay powder is pressed into a mold under high pressure. The tile is in very good condition with only very light traces of use. The reverse side is not marked.
