AN3217 Carl Sigmund Luber tile € 2.000,00

Large square art nouveau tile depicting a woman in a landscape picking flowers. The design is by Carl Sigmund Luber, artistic director of the artistic faience department at Johann von Schwarz in Nuremberg. He worked for this company from 1896 until the closure of the artistic department in 1906. This tile is also pictured in Carl sigmund Luber, his life and work as an artist for the Art Nouveau ceramics of Johann von Schwarz, 1896-1906, published 2006, page 176. The tile is part of a piece of furniture. The documentation indicates that this tile was made to be used in a table. This large tile is in beautiful condition.
