Beautiful tile designed by Carl Sigmund Luber around 1900. This designer is best known for the tiles and decorative pottery depicting women. A number of similar tiles are depicted in the book: Carl Sigmiund Luber, Leben und Werk als Entwerfer der Jugendstilkeramik von Johann von Schwarz, 1896-1906, abgebildet. These tiles have the same floral Art Nouveau frame, but within them different landscapes are depicted. Excellent condition tile with only a few tiny scratches on the border, hardly visible.
