Original antique Art Nouveau tile made by Alfred Meakin Ltd, Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent, England, C 1905. The decoration of floral motifs is embossed by dust-pressed technique in which clay powder is compressed under high pressure in a mold. The tile is in good condition with some slight signs of use, such as a tiny glaze chip to right side.
